Stuart, Martin County

Stuart

Stuart lives on the water. The St. Lucie River runs through downtown, the inlet opens to the ocean, and a lot of the work in town has something to do with boats.

Filming things that float

Stuart is the county seat of Martin County and calls itself the Sailfish Capital of the World. The Okeechobee Waterway reaches the coast here, so boats come through from both sides of the state. Around that traffic there are builders, yards, marinas, engine shops and suppliers.

Marine products are hard to show on a phone screen. A hull looks like a hull until you see the layup, the fit of the hardware and how it runs. That is where film and 3D work together. We film the build and the boat on the water, then use 3D to show what a camera cannot, like the inside of a part or a model that is not finished yet.

Getting there

A short drive south

We are based in Port St. Lucie, just north of Stuart. Most Stuart shoots are a normal workday for us. We can come look at the shop, the yard or the venue before the shoot day. For shoots on a boat, we plan the run with the captain before we leave the dock, so we know where the light and the calm water will be.

What we make in Stuart

  • Manufacturers

Boat builders, marine suppliers and the shops that keep them running. Build films, 3D of the hull or the part, and a site that makes the spec easy to read.

  • Weddings

Riverfront ceremonies, historic downtown streets and golden hour on the water. We plan the timeline around the light on the water.

  • Podcasts & YouTube

Fishing captains, charter crews and local experts with something to show every week. We shoot on the dock or on board as well as at a desk.
